He is dubbed the King Of Pop, and according to Rolling Stones he is the 2nd best selling solo act of all time, after Elvis Presley; spawning over 350 Million records. He is the only artist in history to have an album be certified 30X Platinum with his legendary album “Thriller“, selling a whopping total of 65 Million copies worldwide. His music impacted millions of people around the world and continues to do so today.

However, it wasn’t just his gargantuan sales and music that made him the legend that he was. Michael is the blueprint of entertainment, and is one of the most best selling touring artist of all time. His choreograph infused, top notch production concerts drew in millions upon millions of fans to sold-out venues, just to see him perform.  It became a norm to see scattered fans passed out on the ground while others were utterly butchering their vocals chords as they screamed at the top of their lungs when MJ was on stage. The “moonwalk” and his famous “crotch grab” were some of his signature moves that became worldwide sensations, imitated by fans everywhere.

In addition, Michael Jackson is noted as the single most charitable pop-star of all time by the Guinness Book Of World Records. In 2000 they confirmed Jackson had supported over 40 charity organizations either through monetary donations or silent auctions. These charities included but not limited to, AIDS Project LA, American Cancer Society, and United Negro College Fund. Michael was not only a legendary entertainer and pop star, but a selfless humanitarian as well.

  Michael has majorly influenced pop culture as well modern-day entertainers , including Beyonce , Usher, Ne-Yo, Chris Brown, Janet Jackson, Lady Gaga, and Justin Bieber just to name a few.
